UKCA Chemistry and Aerosol Tutorials at vn13.0 using Rose & Cylc

The following tutorials will teach you how to use various aspects of UKCA, and the parts of Rose (the Unified Model's python-based user interface) that are specific to UKCA. These tutorials will begin with using the UKCA Box Model before using UKCA within the Met Office Unified Model

# Difficulty Time to Complete Topic Video
1 EASY Under 1 hour Running an existing UKCA Box Model Suite
2 MEDIUM 1-2 hours Changing UKCA Box Model Options
3 MEDIUM 1-2 hours Add new UKCA chemical tracers
4 MEDIUM 1-2 hours Adding new chemical reactions
5 EASY Under 1 hour Running an existing UM-UKCA suite
6 EASY Under 1 hour What is STASH?
7 HARD 2 or more hours Adding new UKCA tracers to the UM
8 HARD 2 or more hours Adding emissions
9 MEDIUM 1-2 hours Adding dry deposition of chemical species
10 EASY Under 1 hour Adding wet deposition of chemical species
11 HARD 2 or more hours Adding new UKCA chemical diagnostics
12 HARD 2 or more hours Examining Aerosol Impacts

These tutorials are an update and expansion of the tutorials which were at UMvn8.2, UMvn8.4, UMvn10.4, UMvn10.9, and UMvn11.8

These tutorials have been funded by the National Centre for Atmospheric Science, the NERC Advanced Training: Short Courses award scheme, and the ACITES Atmospheric Chemistry Modelling Network. Many thanks to JASMIN for use of the Unmanaged Cloud. Many thanks to Amazon for support in using AWS.
