Welcome to the UKCA Wiki

UKCA is a joint NCAS-Met Office programme funded by NCAS, GMR and DEFRA. Project partners are the Hadley Centre and the Universities of Cambridge, Leeds and Oxford. Our objective is to develop, evaluate and make available a new UK community atmospheric chemistry-aerosol global model suitable for a range of topics in climate and environmental change research.

UKCA Training - January 2018

The UKCA Theory and Practice Workshop will take place on the 8th-12th January 2018. For more information please see the January 2018 course website.

The content of the course will be similar to the January 2017 course.

Composition-Climate Interaction Meeting

The first Annual UK Composition-Climate Interaction Meeting was held in Leeds on the 24th and 25th March 2011, the second was held on the 22nd and 23rd March 2012, at Oriel College, University of Oxford, and the Third Annual UK Composition-Climate Interaction Meeting was held in Cambridge on the 21st and 22nd March 2013. The Fourth Annual UK Composition-Climate Interaction Meeting was held at the UK Met Office, Exeter, on the 3rd and 4th of April 2014.

The 5th Composition-Climate Interaction Meeting will take place at the University of Leeds on the 25th and 26th March 2015. More information can be found on the NCAS website, including details of how to register.
